Antioxidants, especially superfruits, have garnered more attention recently as people become more focused on healthy aging and longevity. DSM Nutritional Products announced data from two analyses of the first human study of resVida® trans-resveratrol that showed resVida® is the first pure trans-resveratrol dietary ingredient to demonstrate cardiovascular health benefits in humans. The data was presented at the 4th International Conference on Polyphenols and Health (ICPH) in Yorkshire, England, Dec. 7-10, 2009 and the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA) and Nutrition Society of New Zealand (NSNZ) Joint Annual Scientific Meeting in Newcastle, NSW, Dec. 8-11, 2009.
